According to Facebook’s very scientific and always accurate tests, I am going to have 6 kids. Are those children biological only or does all children you have lived with count? If they do then Facebook is right and I have fulfilled Facebook’s commands when it comes to having children. Otherwise… ???
Ok, so during the packing I had a little nail accident. One broke off and maked me look like I have great use for my middle finger (wich I do just like all of my fingers, just not for the purpose you are thinking of you cheeky beggar). And since I am going to be working in an office typing a lot I needed them shorter anyway so I got them fixed.
I am wearing one of my absolute favorite lipcolors Christian Dior Addict Lipstick, No. 536 Lucky, 0.12 Fluid Ounce.
Having some one do my nails is one thing I treat myself to since it makes me look and feel more put together even if I some days don’t have time for a full face of makeup and my hair done. It sort of prevents me from looking like a tired mom of four kids in leopard printed sweatpants and a messy ponytail that has given up on life… Like, at least my nails are done.
I have long ago given up on trying to do them myself. I end up angry, frustrated and looking like some one dragged me across a field of O.P.I nailpolishes with no lid on. It is not a pretty sight… Some times you just have to admit defeat and just give up and surrender. It is a waste of my time and energy.
Shorter, squared and office ready! Never mind the manic look on my face, I just look like that sometimes when I see something pink. Pink is always a good idea!
This week and next week… could they get any more hectic? Probably, but I am hoping they won’t. This Friday I am handing in my last exam for school this year and on Saturday it is time for the big move!
On Monday I start my internship with one of the biggest hospitals in Sweden and I am so excited and happy about the opportunity I have to come work with them. Also, I am a bit nervous about making mistakes, but then, who is perfect at the beginning? I always try not to think about being nervous because it is all about the good vibes right? I like to keep good thoughts and vibes in my mind so that good things can come my way and I will be in a state to recognize the opportunities that can come along. Preparation is key so as long as I can find my clothes, make up and handbag, I should be fine. And shoes… shoes would be great.
But when I am busy some things get to take the backseat and right now it is food. Who’s cooking? Not me, I manly live of cottage cheese and energy drinks. The cottage cheese in front of the computer and books and the energy drinks while packing. Look at me – health impersonated. lol #donttrythisathomekids
Elis made this little bow in preeschool and has decided to wear it all day. Could he be any cuter with his little grumpy face and a bow? ❤
I am the boxer… I am boxing everything in sight. Luckily my kids have managed to stay out of being boxed in but we´ll se about that. The house is a freaking mess and it is really getting on my nerves. But trying to see things on the bright side, I don´t have to clean this house after the move. A cleaning company is doing that for us. Thank you very much!
All the boxes upstairs are color coded so that we know what goes where but all the boxes in the downstairs room is not color coordinated yet so that is my job today after I finish up my schoolwork for today.
Can you belive there is a window back there? This room is filled to the brink soon and so is my patiens. I am so glad the new house have so much storage room we can put all boxes in there so we don’t have to have boxes all over the place while unpacking.
Since we are finally on the last week in the old house I felt it ok to bag all my clothing on hangers. Why waste boxes on things you can move from one rack to another?
Hm… I see a disturbing lack of pink in my wardrobe. I´ll have to fix that when spring comes.
Ok so we are officially on our last week in the old house (townhouse) and in a week we should be spending our first night in the new house!
I am so excited and equally stressed to get it all done, since I also have an exam due of friday next week.
The new house is in great condition and all we have to do is to put our own touch to it to make it feel like home. Can´t wait, but I have to because life is so busy and I have 10 weeks of internship coming up the first week after moving and the same week my daughter has 4 shows of Moana to perform. Ah! So many things to do!
But, decorating the house will have to take the backseat for a while and that is ok. All in good time. Patiens in my strongest feature… not!
Ok, so last night I baked a low carb (keto) cake to satisfy my sweettooth. It was super filling and all you need is a veeeery small bite to satisfy your craving. Trust me!
It was really easy and not at all compicated and I got a request for the recipe so here it comes.
- 200g of butter
- 200g of dark chocolate (I used 85%)
- 3 large eggs or 4 smaller
- 1/3 cup (0,75 dl) of Stevia or any other sugar substitute of choice.
- Salt (unless you use salted butter, then I would skip the salt)
- Optional: vanilla extract or maybe orange zest would bring a nice twist to it.
- Melt butter and chocolate slowly on stove and then let cool for a bit. (You don´t want your eggs to cook and have chocolate flavoured scrambled eggs…)
- Whip eggs and stevia fluffy (about 3-5 min).
- Combine chocolate and eggs and whisk together.
- Add to a greased pan (I used a 10″) and I also added some shredded coconut to the bottom. You can skip this step if you want.
- Cook for 8-9 minutes on about 400 F or 200C. Keep a close eye on it. It cooks, and burns fast.
Let cool and then enjoy with whipped cream and berries if you´d like. I did my own strawberry mix to ad on top and it works great as a jam substitute. Yum!
And you… a little goes a long way. This cake will last me atleast a week or more. I tried to freeze a piece to see how that works out. I´ll let you know.
